Medibank Community Grants Available

The Medibank Community Grants will support local initiatives throughout Australia that encourage physical activity and help combat the rising number of obese children in communities across the country.

Applications are open to community focused not-for-profit organisations. This includes relevant incorporated associations, welfare support agencies, community groups and schools.

Applications close: 21 August 2015.

School Holiday Program PCYC

These fun 2 hour sessions for $10 is great for kids that love basketball and/or soccer. Both programs run separately and consists of fun drills and games, aimed to improve and enhance many different areas in junior sports.

REGISTRATION CAN BE COMPLETED ON THE DAY. Kidzcare forms and membership CAN be completed when you drop into the centre. No prior registration is required as it is a drop in program.

Marrickville Council's Recreation Grants Program provides financial support to community sporting and recreation groups, and not-for-profit, non-government community recreation organisations that offer recreation programs and services to residents in the Marrickville local government area (LGA).

Applications must be for specific projects for one-off funding. Funding is available for projects from $500 to $3000. Council reserves the right to determine the level of funding offered.

Group Feature: Ultimate Frisbee

Inner West Ultimate is an ultimate frisbee club based in Tempe. With seasonal leagues, year round we are working to grow the sport of ultimate for people living and working in the Inner West and South Sydney.

Open to players of all levels, from Worlds Players to 'how-the-heck-do-you-throw-this-thing players,' IWU runs both mixed leagues and men's and women's development leagues.
